5th Anniversary NYC 9/11 Memorial Field
Fifth Anniversary Memorial Event for the Entire NYC Community | September 8-12, 2006 | Manhattan's Inwood Hill Park
Over the course of 5 days, a 9/11 Fifth Anniversary Memorial Event took place at Manhattan’s Inwood Hill Park. 3,000 Flags of Honor were displayed in commemoration of the nearly 3,000 lives lost during the attacks on 9/11. In addition, displays were conducted by the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD, EMS, and US Armed forces, and evening musical performances took place each night of the event.
5 years after the day the towers fell, we remember.
